o Possible purposes include
â–ª Police raid

â–ª No precautionary action necessary if the owners are present near the base
• Repeated Robbery
o If someone dies as part of a robbery, and return to retrieve left loot, or simply to mind their own business, they must be considered as a “ghost man,” and should NOT be killed, or robbed again.
o If a robbery is attempted, the robber may NOT constantly rob the same person repeatedly. The robber must wait or rob someone else.
o This also applies to raiding.
Server Official Groups
• Administrative Staff will recognize certain groups as official if they are dominant
o Said group could be a government or police force
o Said group is responsible for removing imposters, staff will not play any role in this.
o All groups are overseen by staff
Laws and Enforcement
• Any arrests or use of force should be made when necessary
• “Common Sense” laws – Don’t murder, don’t do drugs
o Staff will not intervene unless ABSOLUTELY necessary.
Base Building/Deletion
• Large bases are at heightened risk of deletion.
• Any base that appears to be destroyed or is in a state of disrepair can be wiped at the discretion of a staff member.

Chat Rules
• Speak English in world and area chat
• Respect is good
• Do not advertise other servers within the chat
• Do not instigate arguments that are prone to get out of hand
• Avoid excessive swearing
• Any content deemed to be intolerably sexually or ethically inappropriate will be treated SEVERELY, and will usually warrant a removal from elevated positions, or a ban.
• All usernames must adhere to all chat rules, EXCLUDING the rule “Speak English in public chat”.
• Do not put misleading tags in your username, such as claiming to be Staff.
o If your username is determined to be misleading, staff may ask you to change it.
• Failing to obey chat regulations can result in a mute, a kick, or a ban (in severe cases) being assessed.

Misc. Rules

Content Creation
• Players must have an active channel, and the channel MUST be checked by MD to ensure it is eligible.
• Staff will keep a special eye out to make sure content creators that ARE RECORDING or STREAMING are getting quality content.
• If a content creator is issued a ban, they will have their status revoked until their ban has expired and they are reverified.
• We request that content creators leave some form of connection or link to our Steam group or server within their description.
Forms of Punishment
Minor
Minor punishments will be assessed for simple things, and most have no real consequence.
Warning
• Warnings are most commonly assessed to new players, and can be as simple as saying “That’s against the rules”, or “You can’t do that.” Those are just examples, but that’s the basic idea of a warning.
o It’s a good idea to tell new players to check /rules if they are causing problems.
Muting
• Muting should be done due to a violation of the Chat Rules.
o When muting, mute someone then unmute them after a few seconds as a warning.
o If the problem persists, mute them for a longer period of time.
Killing
• This command is not normally used by staff, but can be used as a warning measure.
o A case in which to use it may be:
â–ª Someone spawning mass amounts of items, causing the server to lag
Kicking
Kicking is a form of punishment which can be used as a warning measure.
• Most commonly, a kick is used to warn a player who has been on the server for some time.
o It can also be used to halt chaos, alongside the kill command.
o The best way to use the command is to kick someone who is breaking the rules, and warn them in this format:
/kick <name> “<infraction> - Warning”
• Do not kick excessively.
Banning
Banning is a more severe form of punishment and should be used with EXTREME caution. BE AWARE THAT ALL BAN TIMES ARE IN SECONDS, AND THAT THE FORMAT IS AS FOLLOWS:
/ban <name> “<reason>” <time in seconds>
It should be known that bans can cause one to be removed from elevated roles or positions.
There are multiple levels of banning:
Time – Out
• This type of ban is usually used for arguments which have gotten out of hand.
• Usually, it is a 5 – 10 minute ban, which is enough time for someone to calm down.
/ban <name> “<Infraction> - <5 / 10 Minutes>” <300 / 600>
1 Day or Hourly
• 1 day or hourly bans are the more uncommon ban type.
o They are usually used in small cases, where someone has broken the rules to a point where it must be punished, but is not necessarily severe.
o How long of a ban to assess is up to the staff member, but the time must be reasonable.
â–ª Don’t ban someone for 10 hours for swearing you out, 30 minutes will do.
/ban <name> “<Infraction> - <Time in hours or minutes>” <Time in seconds>
Week Bans
• This is the highest level ban any staff member should have to assess.
o This ban level is used for someone who has been repeatedly breaking the rules, after being warned by staff OR players.
o The player in question must have OBVIOUSLY known they were breaking the rules, and the staff should make sure they are WILLINGLY and REPEADTEDLY breaking the rules.
o This ban should usually only be assessed AFTER previous attempts to get them to stop have failed.
/ban <name> “<Infraction> - 1 Week” 604800
Extreme
Extreme bans are only used by ADMINISTRATORS OR ABOVE.
• All extreme bans must be approved by MD EXPLICITLY
• This ban level includes permabans, and all other bans longer than 1 week.
• Any staff member abusing this ban level may be relieved from their duties.
• It should be known that extreme bans WILL cause one to be removed from elevated roles or positions.
All bans must be reported on the ban entry form.
Staffing
All staff are handpicked. Staff must abide generally by these rules, in order to keep the playing field level between players and staff. When running a RP event, staff may alter the rules temporarily for those participating in the event. PARTICIPATION IN ROLEPLAY IS NOT MANDATORY, AS LONG AS PLAYERS FOLLOW RULES. Staff helping other players may temporarily bend the rules within reason.
Commands
Players are to always be aware of how they are using the commands given to them. Below, each level of player is defined.
Non – Staff
Players
• Players are not to use /i to spawn in mass amounts of items for no good reason, or use the command to intentionally slow down the server.
o The command should also not be used to spawn in “cheat items”; items that are not able to be crafted or found, such as anything that is named “# NAME”.
• Players are not to use /v to spawn in excessive amounts of vehicles only to abandon them in the road.
o There is a 2 minute cooldown on this command for a reason; someone once spawned a pile of APCs, which was a real blast to get rid of. :/
• Players are not to use /tpa in roleplay situations, as it is unfair to other players.
• The Vote-To-Kick system is to be used to assist players in keeping Rule-Breaking players off of the server. Under no circumstance should it be used to simply punish a player one dislikes, or by large groups intending to cause chaos and disorder. If this system is abused, it CAN be reported and may result in punishment.
